Your input is needed for research project.

Posted On: Jul 11, 2010 (15:53:10)

My name is Michael Fine and I am a second year medical student at the University of Western Ontario. I am currently working on a research project with Dr. Randy Wax at Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. The project relates to the ability of volunteer first responders (EMTs and Paramedics), volunteer firefighters, and physicians to violate certain traffic laws while heading to an emergency in their privately owned vehicles.

As you may know, some paramedics and volunteer EMTs have the right to place green or red lights in their vehicles when heading to an emergency. This gives them different rights and privileges in different jurisdictions. I am wondering if anything like this is done in Oklahoma.
